What is Mover?

Mover is a tool to migrate data from various cloud storage providers to office 365 quickly, securely, and with easy navigation.

Mover acquired by Microsoft in Fall 2019. Mover is a cloud service offered by Microsoft and it’s FREE for a single user or large partner. This tool is available worldwide.

Migration Steps

1. Login using Microsoft account
2. Screen display like below
   
   
3. Source Connector (Click Authorize New Connector on the source section)
   
   
    
4. Destination Connector (Click Authorize New Connector on the destination section)
   
   
5. Click “Start Copy”
   
6. View the summary screen
   

 

Other Features

• Logs – We have the ability to view the logs for one or more transfers

• • Select one or more of the transfer summary from the list
  • Select User Actions menu
  • Click “Download logs for x transfer (zip file)” 

• Email Notification – We can schedule to receive either On Completion or On Error but not both.

• Schedule the jobs – This tool allows to schedule migration Hourly, Daily, Weekly and Monthly

• Enable 2-step verification
